For the Reader (That’s You!)

Posted by Letham On March - 4 - 2010

I don’t have much to say, but I don’t have nothing to say. Basically, this post is meant for one purpose and one purpose only…

…to get rid of that annoying music. Newberg gave us a challenge, to post as much as we could in order to rid us, and you, of the music that plagued Not Drugs. And with this post, victory has been taken. Thank you Newberg, with how annoying the song was, is how much we have succeeded.

So in triumph, I give you, well, “Triumph” (performed by the Wu Tang Clan).

Throw up them W’s.

Dwb.

**UPDATE** – Winn beat me to the post that got rid of the song. But still we declare Victory. ODB R.I.P.

Beer Is…

Posted by Portman On September - 14 - 2009

Homer Beer MuscleSo last week I had the distinct pleasure of attending the third annual Ithaca Brewfest. Some of my favorite local and national breweries were in attendance including the Ithaca Beer Co. and Saranac as well as some more well known breweries like Yeungling, Newcastle and Blue Moon. My personal best in show had to go to the nearby Horsehead Brewery who made a delicious Jalapeno Beer which sounds disgusting but was fantastic.  Above all else everyone there had a great time.  The place was packed, the music was bumpin’, the food was delicious, and of course the beer was flowin’.  Oddly enough everyone there seemed to have a unified message for me:

This is cool, unique, creative, intricate, ballsy, awesome, rad, risky, celebratory, shocking.

Ends and New Beginnings; and the Chaos Theory at work.

This is going to be short because the video pretty much speaks for itself. There’s some sort of end coming, tomorrow, July 25th, 2009. After tomorrow, who knows what’s in store for us, you, and we, as a people.

But the video below is also a beginning. It’s as close to a definition for what we, Not Drugs, is about.

So come celebrate the end of an era, tomorrow, if you are around the Ithaca area.

212 Giles, Apartment 8, is where everything collides.

But don’t worry. Not Drugs is just starting to blast off.

Enjoy.

The painting stops (I think some people got a little lopsided) but the fun continues.

Look at what happened:

Do as I say, not as I do. Right?

Like, where is this album?detox

We planned on launching the first NotDrugs mixtape today, but ya know. Creative uncertainties, mishaps with the production lines, Julian started singing “Kissed by a rose.”

It’ll be out soon.

Who should we all try to be more like?

tupac

He put out so much stuff that like, it was still producing posthumously.

Crowd Support

Just like our friend Dave here thinks, drugs just aren’t appropriate.

Look it:

And when we asked Lindsey what her sentiments were on the situation, she became a little unsettled and had to flee the scene:

Finally, the always calm Zach Capp from The Show dropped us a line:
