So remember when I said I would have our Dope Songs of 2009 up yesterday before the ball dropped on 2009? Yeah, well, a couple of us Not Drugs folk got together for a NYC NYE spectacular and things went out the window and we kinda took Not Drugs to the NYC streets. We rang in 2010 from a roof in the Upper East Side and popped that champagne like only Not Drugs can.
And then, when Winn gave we the idea to post the mixtape at 8:10pm (20:10 military time) I thought, wow that would be really cool to do. But, alas, Criminal Minds drew me into a 3 hour daze and before I knew it, 8:10pm has come and gone and I still haven’t posted the mixtape. Sincere apologies to everyone for the wait.
But before I release the Dope Songs of 2009, as an apology, here’s a short video starring Not Drugs loyal follower, TShea (aka 6FtUnda). It was his first visit to New York City, and it was New Year’s Eve. That’s all you really need to know.
