Quantcast

The cynical if-I-was-still-twelve-years-old-he’d-be-hilarious Eminem is back. The video for We Made You was released today.  He’s still quick flowing and boisterous. Still going with the Scary Movie style satire of the obvious pop culture pariahs. Kim Kardashian’s got a big ass? Who knew.

It took him and Dre five years to come out with this typecast release?

Single 1: Slim Shady takes all his easy cheap shots
Single 2: Eminem reminds us that he actually is a decent rapper
Single 3: Knock it off. All right, the album is OK

I was hoping for a little progression in his career. Hopefully Dre’s release will be better.

caught this video earlier today via twitter somehow and low and behold its posted here and i caught it via tcbn :). Don't really think the song is that great, funny he mocks all those celebs and stuff but, musically speaking, its pretty weak... what do you think?
  • Dweeb
Even the female chorus is terrible, and usually that's hard to make that bad. I mean, I was expecting this. For the first time ever I listened to the Marshall Mathers LP in its entirety and finally had concrete support as to how bad he really is. This song, and crack the bottle, are so amateur that, even as someone who is not a fan of eminem, makes me upset to see him down this road, again.
  • Who is that on the female chorus? I know it isn't Jessica Simpson.
  • Trite and disappointing? Figured that after the career Eminem's had, and the time he's spent working with other artists, he would have a little more to offer.
