The Williams and I have a little beef goin on right now. Nothing big…this actually happens quite often. We are both so influenced by music that sometimes tensions flare, words are exchanged…nasty stuff. This particular quarrel we had recently, just happened to be complimented by something I found not too long afterwards. This is the story.
Wale’s album came out a week ago and on opposite sides of the America, Williams and I were bumpin it. At the same time, I had recently come across Royce Da 5′ 9″ ‘s new album Street Hop, and was lovin it as well. In the City of Angels, though, Williams had just downloaded Weezy’s new mixtape No Ceilings and was blowin his speakers trying to get the tunes to get louder and louder. When we shared these albums we were respectively up on via Facebook (you should add us both if you haven’t already), Williams showed a distaste for my appreciation of Royce’s delivery, and I (since the birth of this demon) denounced Lil Wayne’s ever so terrible existence.
This started a back and forth jaw jammer between Williams and I about how Royce is better than Weezy, or how Weezy is the best rapper alive…you know how it would have gone. We eventually both gave up and put the very familiar rivalry behind us and showed love, as we always do.
But a few days later, I find something that could help bring more people into this quarrel, something that was a little too convenient maybe. But whatever the case…this is what I was trying to get to.

I am not claiming that either Royce or Wayne is the best rapper alive. I think that there are many other rappers that are more talented. This dispute between Royce and Wayne is more like metaphor for a battle rap between Williams and I (if both of us were talented rappers that had large fan bases). It just so happened that I found a mixtape devoted to Royce and Lil Wayne taking turns rapping over the same beats.

There’s 12 rounds. Lil Wayne goes first, Royce follows, and it follows that pattern for the entire 26 track mixtape.
This is the mixtape brought to you by Trackstar The DJ. Listen to it, and decide who you think won the fight.
I’m too biased to even try and score this match (I sat and tried to score it as an actual boxing match and it wasn’t even close). So I’d like to see you guys score it (as they try influence you to do by the back cover of the mixtape):

I even looked up how to score a boxing match so it’s that much easier for you to do it. But if you don’t want to put in all that effort to score the match, I’d still like to know who you think out did who. So just vote on the poll below, and hopefully Lil Wayne doesn’t come out on top….for my sake.
Dwb.
